Our Hotel

Centrally located in Bonn’s city centre, our personally run Hotel Kurfürstenhof can look back on a long tradition as an inn.

The foundation stone was laid as early as 1871, and the Kurfürstenhof has welcomed numerous prominent guests in its history, for example Leonard Bernstein and Otto von Habsburg. The sister of Kaiser Wilhelm II, Sophie, and her friend Zupkow were also regular guests of the hotel. Today, our hotel continues to be highly appreciated by its guests, who include both city travellers and business travellers.

Your host Giso von Petersdorff and his team look forward to welcoming you to the heart of Bonn’s city centre. Your day at the Kurfürstenhof starts with a rich breakfast buffet and current daily newspapers in the bright, friendly breakfast room. Breakfast is available daily from 7:00 am to 10:30 am, or earlier by prior arrangement. External guests are also welcome to enjoy breakfast with you. The price for this is 10 EUR per person.

Our hotel offers a 24-hour reception, lift, lounge, secure storage for bicycles and a limited number of parking spaces directly at the house. Five minutes‘ walk away is a public underground car park of the LVR LandesMuseum.

The City of Bonn levies an accommodation tax of 5% on the gross accommodation price on all private overnight stays. Overnight stays that are necessarily connected with the exercise of a profession or trade, a freelance activity, a school activity or an activity serving educational purposes are exempt from the tax. Templates to prove this activity can be printed out at https://bit.ly/2AMqlMm . If possible, please bring these completed templates with you for non-private overnight stays.
